Fill in the blanks: Dropdown menu order

I have created a Fill in the blank question with answer type Dropdown.

The possible choices are : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

I have entered them in order, but in the preview view, the possible choices are presented randomly.

Is there any possibility to maintain the original order?

I think you might need to uncheck the "Shuffle Answers" option on the quiz/assignment details tab.  That seems to be a global toggle, and would probably be better as a question by question option.

I am having this same problem. The answers do not show up in the same order in the dropdown when previewing as when I entered them, which is problematic for the questions I am entering. All of my shuffle options are turned off. It is not changing the order each time I preview, but instead they just seem to be in a static random order.

Also, as a less pressing issue, I would like to be able to have a blank space as one of the dropdown options. It doesn't allow this currently.

These issues are forcing me to continue to use classic quizzes.
