Flash- 3rd party apps

What's happening with Flash as it relates to the Canvas plugins? Canvas, itself, should be fine; but will the 3rd party plugins have issues now that Flash will no longer be supported in 2021?

Bottom line - Canvas runs on a web browser, almost all web browsers will stop supporting Flash on Jan. 1, 2021. This means none of the Flash content in Canvas course will work after January 1. Actually some might work, for awhile, but most won't and I have no idea why some will and some won't.

Really, the only thing this has to do with Canvas, is that we access Canvas on browsers.

Some students, not all, are having Flash related issues when attempting to record themselves for an assignment. How can they circumvent this issue?
