Giving a student a chance to take a quiz late for partial credit

Hi -

Sometimes I have students miss the window to take a quiz, and would like to allow them to take it late but only for partial credit. I know how to change the window so the student can take it late but is there any way to say “on this attempt the quiz is worth so much partial credit”? I’ve scoured for answers and haven’t found any. The best I can find is information about using the multiple answers option for partial credit on specific questions, but that’s not what I’m looking to do. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

Yes, this can be done, but it is done through the Gradebook using a posting policy. This guide will get you there, How do I apply a late submission policy in the Gradebook?
