Google Docs linked to assignment

Jump to solution

Can anyone help?  I want to place a google doc into my assignment page.  I have published it to get a link or embed code, but it doesn't work.  Can I have it so the document opens in assignments, students type in answers and then I can use speed grader?  I have looked at a few of the canvas guide links, but I guess I still have questions!

Thanks!

I'm not sure if that would be possible or not.  I suppose you could build a Google Docs form to collect the answers to your questions, but those answers wouldn't show up in SpeedGrader.  What kinds of questions are you asking that is necessary to use Google Docs?  Could the same thing be accomplished by creating a quiz or survey inside of Canvas?  If you could describe the kinds of questions you want to ask your students, that would be helpful.

Also, I'm going to tag this message with keywords so that it's easier for people to search for your question should they have similar questions.  Hope this helps!
