Grade Sync Error - socket timeout

A teacher using Power School with Canvas keeps getting the following error when trying to sync grades:

Grade exchange job failed. Status in SIS: 5 - EXCHANGE_ERROR_NON_RETRYABLE - 3ef64e94-07e4-4fa0-a969-224c89c498f7 - Socket timeout, no response within 20 seconds

The course has 2 sections, one section is cross-listed from another course. Any thoughts on how to fix the error or what it means?

Did you ever find out anything about this? I am having the same error.

The only thing I have heard is the course may have become corrupt. But no explanation of how or why or if it will be fixed.
