I'm a Teaching Assistant added to a course on a canvas page (class with 300 students) and students have been assigned sections. Sections have been classified using the "groups" feature.
I have a twofold query:
1. When an announcement is made on a particular group page (Accessed via people --> group--> eg: Section D), is it broadcasted to the whole class added to that canvas page?
2. Does this announcement get sent to the other Teaching Assistants and Professor registered for this class? Is there a way to stop the notification of these announcements from being sent to the TA's and Professor registered for this class? Because for huge classes, this ends up spamming mailboxes for information regarding other sections.
