HELP WITH EDITING CONTENT IN CANVAS

How do I edit content in the "Syllabus" section in Canvas. When I click "Edit" no content opens. I get a link to the syllabus document, which I cannot open.
When I select the "HTML" option I get a link to a site I cannot open.
I appreciate any help provided.

Hello Katheryn,
The "Syllabus" section in Canvas courses consists of a text area at the top of the screen, and the "Course Summary" area that displays due dates and links to assignments within the course.
The text text area is blank by default. What you see as instructor when you go to that page is merely a description to tell you what the syllabus area is. It's not something that is displayed to students. If you "Edit" and enter text, you'll see the actual text that you create and that will be displayed for students, and the description goes away.
