Help with the Parent App

We are using the Free for Teacher option - is it possible to use the Parent App with the free version and if so could someone talk me through how to pair with your student in the app. I've tried scanning the student's QR code which gives and error and our school has not been added to canvas so we are unable to search my school.

Hi Tricia -

You should be able to use the Canvas Parent app!

The QR code that you see from your student's account is to help the student sign in to their Canvas Student app. The student will need to share a pairing code with you!

How do I generate a pairing code for an observer as a student?‌

Then, you will enter this code into your Canvas Parent app.
