Are Hot Spot questions auto-graded? Is it possible to set up a Hot Spot question in New Quizzes so that it's auto-graded for partial credit? Or would a teacher have to go individually into a hot spot question to award partial credit?

It's been a while since I worked in New Quizzes but I believe with Hot Spot questions you can only define a single region for the correct answer. So there really wouldn't be a way to have partial credit awarded automatically; that would require someone manually looking at the responses and entering partial credit as desired.
