How can I add a link to Conferences?

I am trying to create a page to be used as my course Home Page. I would like to link an image to Conferences, but I do not see that as an option under the links on the right. I think it should be under Course Navigation, but it's not there. (Conferences is enabled already.)
(Update, in case anyone ever has the same question: I was able to fix this, by simply adding the URL to the Conferences page to the image. I don't know if there are any potential issues with doing it this way, but for now it has worked!)
