How do I change the Point Values in Rubrics when the rubric item is imported from an outcome

For my course, I have defined the outcomes that will be assessed in a given course. I would like to import these items into my rubric for grading the individual assignments. However, the points that are defined in the course outcome do not align with the points for the assignment. How can I scale the number of points for a given outcome from the standard 1 - 5 that is in the "course outcome" to either being 1 - 10 (to match with something being worth 10 points on the assignment) or 2.5 points on the assignment if it is a really small piece? It seems as if the outcomes are not paying attention to the descriptions, but rather are relying on "points" to indicate that an outcome is achieved.
