How do I check a course in Canvas for ADA compliance - without Ally?

I'm reviewing a some courses in Canvas which does not have an Ally license associated with them. 

How can I check a course for ADA/WCAG compliance without Ally?

You can check your course content for accessibility issues by carrying out the steps in either of these Guides (depending on which version of the RCE you are using):

• How do I use the Accessibility Checker in the Rich Content Editor as an instructor?
• How do I use the Accessibility Checker in the New Rich Content Editor as an instructor?
