How do I delete a student's attempt in the gradebook?

A student mistakenly submitted something before it was complete. How do I delete it so she can resubmit it?

You don't delete the assignment. However, unless it's a quiz, it's usually not necessary to delete a submission. Canvas lets students resubmit an assignment as long as the "available until date" hasn't passed. When you go to grade, Canvas shows you the latest submission and gives you the opportunity to look at previous submissions if you like.

If it is a quiz, you can give the student an extra submission.

That's a problem we've come across and we'd love it to be added to Canvas- the more people who vote, the more they'll look into it!
