How do I re order my pages

I need to move my pages into a different order.

You can sort any column on the Pages index by clicking at the top of that column. That change, however, is not permanent, nor does it apply to anyone other than you in the browser session you're in.

You could name all of your pages so that they appear in alphabetical order. This is often unrealistic.

What is recommended is to use Modules to create an organization to your pages and then disable the Pages link. Teachers can still see the full list of pages, but students cannot.
