How do I set canvas to start on the dashboard?

Hi,

When I log into Canvas it always opens on the inbox page, so every single time I have to click on Dashboard. It's not a huge problem but is annoying. Is there any way to set the Dashboard as the opening screen?

Hello there, @dbradbury ...

It almost sounds like you are using a bookmarked URL within your browser to take you into Canvas.  Is this a correct assumption?  If so, you're going to need to edit your bookmark within your browser to shorten the URL down to just the Dashboard URL rather than pointing to your Inbox.  For example:

https://SchoolName.instructure.com/ vs. https://SchoolName.instructure.com/conversations
