How do I take attendance in the attendance tab?

I open up the attendance tab and all I see is a relatively blank screen (image attached below). How do I take attendance? The course is published, the students are enrolled. What next?

Hi  @kcompise  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thanks for posting your question.  Hmmm...what browser are you using?  Are you using an up-to-date version of either Chrome or Firefox?  Which browsers does Canvas support?‌  Also, have you tried clearing your web browser's cache/history?  How do I clear my browser cache on a Mac?‌ or How do I clear my browser cache on a PC?‌  Finally, here are a handful of written Guides on how to use the Attendance tool:
