How do I unenroll from an old canvas course that is no longer in use as a student?

I have had this course show up on my dashboard for multiple years now and I would really like to be removed from it. I was added to it by the teacher so the drop out option is not available to me. I have tried to contact this teacher in the past, but she left half=way through the year and forgot to unenroll me. I have also unstared it, which didn't work either. Also there is no way for me to contact my school about this problem via canvas. It would be great if someone could tell me another way to get rid of it manually.
Please help me, it is very annoying.
