How do admins create groups in Commons?

We haven't shared anything to Commons yet, so there won't be any sub-accounts-turned-groups when Commons Groups go live this weekend.

Also, how do we add faculty to groups?  Is there a systematic way to do it?

biray@instructure.com​, you've been so helpful, can you tell me if sub-account admins in Canvas can create groups in Commons?  I have a feeling only full account admins can do it but just wanted to double check.

No, sub-account admins cannot create groups in Commons (since groups are not aligned with any sub-account hierarchy anymore, sub-account permissions do not have any bearings). So, only root account level admins have the ability to create Commons groups. Smiley Happy
