How to create another post on the assignment text entry?

The assignment I was doing allows re-submission with no limits before the due date. However, it requires another post to be graded while leaving the original post for the text entry with no edits or delete. How can I create another post on the text entry (it only shows text entry to submit) while leaving the original post?
