How to find ALL of Canvas Courses-It is not working for me.

How do I find all of the courses offered by Canvas?  I've tried clicking on "All Courses" and it just shows me the 3 courses I have finished.  I would like to find courses ie. Microsoft Excel, Word etc.  Also, I am not a student, I am a UW Madison Staff employee.

Hi  @kmrand  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

First, Canvas does not offer courses per se, courses are offered by schools and businesses and they use Canvas to deliver them - big difference.

As a Canvas user, when you go to All Courses, you will only see those courses you are, have been or will be enrolled in for that school.  I see that you are at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. This link will take you to the Office of the Registrar at UWM where you can find more information about enrolling in courses.

Hi,  @kmrand  Welcome to the Canvas Community! Canvas offers courses through Canvas Network. This is separate from your UW-Madison Canvas instance, so if you find a course you'd like to take on Canvas Network, you would enroll in the course through that site and you'll receive a separate set of login credentials specific to the course.

If I'm misunderstanding and you're looking for courses on Microsoft Word and Excel offered by your school, I found this page of professional development links on your school's website: Professional Development | Working at UW
