How to turn off translation

I am an ESL teacher. I am currently teaching remotely. Is there a way to turn off the translation feature for assignments and quizzes?

 If you are referring to the browser's translation tools such as Chrome translation, that is a feature in local browser's setting, You cannot force turn off it unless your students are working on lab computers. Using  a pdf may bypass direct translation but student can still use http://translate.google.com to turn in it into a webpage and get the translation.
