I can't change comments made in response to quizzes

Why do you release "upgrades" that don't work? In the past, we posted ONE comment that was returned with quizzes for all respondents. This year, you decided to "improve" the program by supplying options for different comments. But I can't edit or delete some of the comments I made in the past, which will be distrubted to students who answer correctly. In one case, that means that students will receive incorrect information about how grades are calculated. Even though the correct information is in the syllabus, these comments provide IN WRITING a basis for grade appeals. Thanks so much for causing me these problems. The longer I use CANVAS, the more I hate it.

I am not sure I understand your question. could you please elaborate?

• First, are you using the legacy Quizzes, or are you using Quizzes.Next?
• What "Comments returned with quizzes for all respondents." Are you talking about?  The only comments in quizzes that copy from term-to-term, are those associated with each question item - the comments for correct and incorrect responses.  These comments can always be edited.
• The comments created in SpeedGrader as feedback for students do not copy over.

I find it hard to believe that you didn't understand the question. It was described perfectly: you cannot modify the comments for answers!
