I can't figure out how to publish my assignments folder

Can somebody urgently help me? I can't seem to publish my any of my folders. The contents in the folders are published, but the actual folders aren't. I just scroll over them and it states "disabled not visible to students.". How do I enable?

See this all the time for new instructors.

• Go to Settings,
• Go to the Navigation tab,
• Drag-n-drop anything you want visible to the top section.

Incidentally, you also use this page to change the order that course navigation menu items are displayed.
