Is there a way to delete a large number of CANVAS inbox messages all at once?

 @kristinz1 ,

Yes, you can hold shift to select a block of messages or control to select multiple messages before clicking on delete.

It's explained in the Canvas Instructor's Guide: How do I delete a conversation as an instructor?  It's buried, though. It's the sentence right above the "Confirm Deletion" section near the bottom.

Hi James...thanks for responding... But you still have to click on each

individual conversation, and then either archive or delete? I was

looking for an easier way to archive all my student conversations from

last semester and then just delete the ones from the semester before

that.

 @kristinz1 ‌, click on the top message while holding the shift key, then use the scroll bar to scroll to the bottom of the message list and click on the last message. All of the messages will then be selected (so you won't need to click on each one). You can then delete or archive as desired.

Thank you so much.
