If I am working on an assignment but don't publish it and save it where is it?

Howdy  @nevilleland19 ‌,

Hope all is well. If you saved an "assignment," then you should be able to view it by accessing your class and clicking on the Assignments tab in your Course Navigation Menu.

Was this a Canvas assignment, or were you using a third party tool or LTI to create the assignment?

I clicked on +assignment and starting typing a sample research paper. Didn’t finish it so I hit save instead of save and publish. Now I can’t find it. I looked in my computer files, the Files and Pages links but it is gone.

All that is there is an image that I uploaded. The research paper is gone. The title of the assignment was 4/20/2020 “A Call to Action : Regulate use of Cell phones” a Research paper (MLA). I would like to recover the text if I can.Thank you,Linda E. Neville
