You will need to first open up the image outside of Canvas in an image editing program on your computer. This can be in a program such as Windows Paint. It may open sideways in that program, so you would need to rotate it properly, and then save it. If you open up the file in your graphics program and it appear correct, try re-saving it again on your computer, and then re-upload it into your Canvas course.
