Indenting Quotes in Discussions

When I try to indent only one paragraph in a Discussion post (like a quote), it indents the entire post. I cannot seem to indent just one singular paragraph. How do I do this?

In order to indent one paragraph you need to make sure there is an actual paragraph mark between them. If you copy/pasted in the text often there is some other code making it look like a paragraph break visually, but there really isn't one so formatting such as indenting or bulleted lists get applied to it all. What I usually do to fix this is to put your cursor in front of the first word or paragraph 2, press your backspace delete key so that the first word is right after the Period at the end of paragraph one, and then press your Enter or Return key. This should put an actual web paragraph mark in and thus separate the two from being linked. Depending on what you are working on you may need to do this between each paragraph.
