Ipad "this window should close automatically" not going away

When logging into the canvas app on the ipad - I try to select "save login for 30 days" and it opens another window that says "this window should close automatically". It wont. I select the "click here to close this window manually" and it doesn't close. I go back and it takes me all the way back to the "Select your school" screen". So every class, every day, I have to manually login and send a push. 

Any way around this?

Welcome to the Canvas Community! And thanks for asking the question about the Canvas iOS app on your iPad. First I'll ask that the iPad is yours solely and not a shared device with multiple users, right? If you're not on your personal device, there may be a setting that is blocking users from storing personal data like logins.

Next I'll ask if you have the latest version of the app installed on your iPad? and if your iPad OS is up-to-date as well.

Ipad is only mine. Downloaded recent version. ipad is updated. Still doesn't work.

It sounds like your school doesn't use the default Canvas login to access Canvas. Many large schools don't. Anyways, it sounds like a product of the way your school has the login setup and not specifically the app. I would suggest you reach out to your local tech support and see if they can help you troubleshoot this issue.
