Is it possible for students to answer anonymous in the discussion feature?

I want to know if students can decide if their name is shown to the other students in the discussion feature.

Hi  @yara_locher  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  You ask a good question and I would say over 400 people agree with the idea.  The reason I can say that is that this is a current Feature Idea that I invite you to vote up and comment upon located here:  https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1117-anonymous-discussion-forums .  I have had many faculty at my own institution wonder the same thing.  Most who want to do this wind up posting a blog or something similar, which is less than ideal for trying to keep everything all in one place.
