Is there a way to only show ungraded assignments in gradebook?

Can it be done? My courses have many assignments and so the Gradebook has many columns, most of them empty or already graded. Currently, I have to scroll right to find ungraded assignments and open them in speed grader by individual assignment.

Two big things that would help my life, and I have to imagine everyone else's as well:

1. make a Gradebook view that hides anything graded, unsubmitted, or worth 0 (i.e., only show what's turned in but ungraded)

2. make a Speed Grader view/function to show all ungraded assignments, not just one assignment's submissions (i.e., don't make me find an assignment to grade, grade all of those, go back to the Gradebook, find the next, open in Speed Grader, go back to Gradebook ...)

These enhancements would mean I could (1) very quickly view everything waiting for my attention and (2) truly speed grade everything that's due from one list.

Maybe this is already there?

From your course home page and also the Canvas Dashboard, have you ever noticed the To Do list?  It should how you exactly what assignments need to be graded; I think pretty much the exact criteria you just explained.  Clicking the link to the assignment will then take you right to speedgrader to grade.

Then in Speedgrader if you click the Gear icon and select options, you can change the sort order to "by submission status".  This will set the order in speedgrader to group all of the ungraded submissions together so you just grade, click the next arrow, grade, etc.  Go back to your course home and click the next item on the To Do list.

To do list shows me what grading is do so that's good for #1. For #2 I want to grade ALL the due assignments at once not just by assignment. The gear icon and sort by submission status still only shows me by assignments, not all assignments.

In other words, let's say have 10 submissions to grade across 4 assignments. I want to grade all 10 from one bit instead of having to navigate across assignments.
