Community "How do I" CanvasLIVE at 11:00 AM MT today: Release Notes Tips & Tricks
I use the Syllabus page as my homepage for my classes and have included buttons on the page to take students to where they need to go.
One of my buttons I have named Week At a Glance,it will take students to the Modules page, and to the specifics week/module we are on. Every Monday, have edited it to the current module by using the Module box on the right side of the page.
With the change to the RCE, those boxes are no longer there. When I try to edit it using the Link Options, all it shows is the one it was already set to. I can't figure out the numbers I need to use to take it to that specific part of the Modules page.
Solved! Go to Solution.
EDIT: if you upload an image or button to it, it will automatically have a "link" (for me it was the same one used for the previous button). You have to remove the link, then go INSERT > LINK > COURSE LINK
You pretty much have extra steps for something that was very easy previously.
Hi @mswenson11
The link to modules is still available, it's just moved. Go to INSERT > LINKS > COURSE LINKS and the side bar will show with Modules as a choice.
For me there is no "course link"

Kind of a separate question--I don't see that you can link generally to the Modules page anymore through the content selector, only individual modules. Is that correct?
In which case, if you wanted to accomplish something similar, the work around would be to link to the first Module--which is only helpful if you never reorder your Modules.
