Link to an Image on a Page

This question was previously asked and answered, but I don't think the answer applies now: How can I link to an image in Canvas so that the students can download it versus imbedding it in a page?

With the new interface for editing pages, I'm unable to add a link to an image; I can only embed it on the page. Maybe I'm missing something...

Try this; once you added the image to the page, click once on it and then click the Image Options button which should pop up.  Now in the options on the right choose the option "Display Text Link (Opens in a new tab)" and click Done.
