Linking a module to a button in new Canvas editor

How do I link a button on my homepage to a module in the new Canvas editor? I used to be able to click on the button and a menu came up on the right side so I could choose Link and then select the module I wanted to link to. Now when I click to edit my homepage and click the button I get a tab for link options, but it only give me the option to link to a site. Currently the module it is linked to is listed as a web address. How do I find the web address for my new module?  Thank you
