Module button is not on

My module button has been deactivated and the students are not able to see the modules.  How can I make it DEACTIVATE?

It sounds like you need to move the Modules item into the active links for your course navigation.

By the way, if the home page is set to Modules, you do not have to have modules enabled. Since your students cannot see the modules, I'm guessing that's not the case.
