Module navigation buttons missing after assignment is submitted

I am a middle school teacher. I have an issue with my module navigation buttons (previous and next) at the bottom of assignments. If I place an assignment in the middle of a module, after my students complete it and submit it, the buttons disappear. The fanfare happens, but the buttons are gone. With the specific population I work with, once I get them to the module, I need the next and previous buttons for their ease of navigation. Is there an option I'm missing to keep these buttons present after an assignment is submitted?

Hi @ian_pifer I've struck that also. Sometimes I create a page which has links to the assignments embedded there instead of of as a 'next' item in the module. 

Could that work for you?
