My exam is stuck on loading, can't take the test

Hi, I'm trying to take an online exam for my class through Canvas, and the exam isn't loading in.

I click the test link, then "take quiz," and then I'm brought to a page that says 'loading..." and has the question numbers listed on the right in this format ((?)Question 1).  Under the listed questions on the right, is the due time for the test (its a 45 minute time limit).

I can click on the question numbers, but nothing happens.  Same with when I refresh the page, it returns the page to the same state.  Also, I can back out of the exam, and when I return, I can click "Resume Quiz," which brings me to the same "loading..." screen.

Does anyone know whats going on, is it a recurring issue, is there anything I can do about this?

Like I said, its a timed quiz, so I'm probably taking a zero on this attempt. Luckily I get two attempts, but I need to make sure it will work before I try to "re-take" this test.

When this type of thing happens I'd definitely try switching Internet browsers (Chrome or Firefox) and also try (if possible) to not use wireless. All that being said, this is the global Canvas Community of all Canvas users so to get the best support you should probably contact the Help Desk at your Institution. Normally the best way to do this is to go to the Quiz that gave you problems and then click on the Help link in Canvas and "Report a Problem."

 @nhop094 , have you tried what I suggested? Switching internet browsers and not using wireless (or your phone) if possible?

This is the global Canvas Community so it's difficult to help trouble-shoot this too much. Your best bet when you have problems like this is to immediately contact the Canvas Help Desk for your school. You should be able to do this by clicking the Help link in Canvas and Report a Problem.

I am having this exact same problem. Any help would be great. Has happened to me twice. The first time the instructor was able to reset the quiz but now I think the instructor thinks I'm making it up. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
