MyOpenMath: Due dates in Canvas not being honored in MyOpenMath

Hi everyone,

I know this question was asked several months ago, but I didn't see a satisfactory response. So I'm trying here again.

I'm using assignments in MyOpenMath, and it's set up so that the due dates are determined by what I set in Canvas.

I have a student where I want to give her a later deadline than the rest of the class. The original deadline was Feb. 3rd, and in Canvas I added a 2nd deadline of Feb 5th, but just for my student.

However, she is still unable to access the MOM assignment, even with the date change I made just for her. Can anyone let me know what I need to do differently so that MOM recognizes the multiple due dates I've set for this assignment in Canvas?

I just found out from the discussion forum in MOM that the exception for the late assignment will not show in MOM until the student clicks on the assignment in Canvas. I had this same question.  I had set the later due date for a student in Canvas (I don't use late passes) but it was not showing in MOM.  So I asked for help and that was it. Another issue might be if they are using the app as it can get "buggy" according to MOM forum when giving additional time for students.  Make sure the student is using a browser.
