Need Help With Quizzes and Exams

I am new to canvas thanks to Covid-19. I have entered quizzes and exams into the system and I am finding, thank you students, that the answers are provided (shown ) on their end. How do I make this stop?  During set-up, I entered questions, checked the appropriate answer, clicked update question then entered the next question. Under the heading  "details" the only box(es) I have checked are time limit, and let students see their responses. I can not successfully administer exams if I provide the students with the answers.  How do I mitigate this problem?  I could really used some guidance/advice.

Hello  @mvanbibber ...

I think, in a way, you have addressed your own question.  You said that you "let students see their responses".  This is the option you need to uncheck [the actual wording is "Let Students See Their Quiz Responses (Incorrect Questions Will Be Marked in Student Feedback)"].  See the "Set Quiz Options" section in this Guide: What options can I set in a quiz?.

Quiz Responses [4]: You can choose to allow students to view their answers, any automatic feedback generated by the quiz for correct or incorrect answers, and which questions they got wrong. Quizzes default to this option, so if you do not want students to see their quiz responses, deselect the checkbox.
