New Course Registration

When I try to publish my new course, i receive a notification that the final step of registration will be sent to my email.  i have checked both my email addresses and havent received anything.  How do I publish my newly-created course?

Hi @cooperldc 

Are you talking about a course in a school-based Canvas account, or the Free-for-Teachers (FFT) version?

If this is a school account, publishing your courses so that students can access them has nothing to do with your "registration" as a canvas user in that account. If you were not already registered as a user with a teacher role, you would not be able to develop or publish your new course. If this is the case, you need to contact the Canvas Admin at your school.

If it is an FFT account, you will need to contact Canvas Support and report a problem. Click on the Help link, and chose "Report a problem".

@kmeeusen I'm having the same issue.

I contacted Canvas Support over a week ago and keep getting an auto reponse that having a FFT account does not allow for email support for my question.

I'm kinda stuck!
