I added a student to canvas using her email address and giving her student roles. She receives the email inviting her to canvas but after accepting she does not have an edit setting button. After adding the student, numbers appear in both the email and name columns. I have enrolled over 90 students into canvas with no problem. Why would this happen to this one student.

@smk5 , greetings! This is definitely a strange problem! If you are using Canvas Free for Teachers then I'd recommend contacting Canvas Support and seeing if they can help (Help link in Canvas and the "Report a Problem"). If you use Canavs as part of your school, then I'd contact Canvas/Tech support at your school.

I have one student as well that has no editing setting button in his Canvas account. I am using the Free for Teachers version and did have him submit a help ticket. I have over 170 students on Canvas and this is the first time I have ever experienced this situation.
