No file preview anymore?

Hi, why the option to preview the files on RMIT Canvas is not available anymore since this semester? On semester 1 this year there was the option to preview the course files which was convenient. But now I cannot do anything other than download it which is quite annoying. I also checked the previous course that the preview worked, but that option is also gone on them so it's not the issue caused by how the lectures set their page up.

It sounds like this might be a browser issue.

Here are some troubleshooting steps:

• Check your device compatibility: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas?
• Check your browser compatibility: Which browsers does Canvas support? 
• Try a different browser. The latest version of Chrome works great in both Windows and MacOS.
• If none of these methods solve the problem, contact Canvas Support. General instructions are in How do I get help with Canvas as a student?, but your school's support setup might vary somewhat, in which case ask your local IT Department for additional troubleshooting assistance.

I would also let the instructor now.  Sometimes, if an instructor does not add the link correctly, the preview option will not be available.
