Non-Randomized Questions from a Question Group

How can I keep the questions in a question group without Canvas randomizing the questions each time I hit preview or a student takes the exam?

You can create a quiz using a question group. Question groups allow you to place multiple questions within a group for students to answer. You can choose the number of questions that should be answered from the group and how many points to assign each question. Creating a question group randomizes questions within a quiz.

You can add questions to your question group in several ways:

• Link to a question bank to reference all questions in a question bank
• Add an individual question to create your own questions from scratch
• Find questions to reference specific questions from a question bank

Note: If you need your questions to appear in a specific order, do not place quiz questions inside a question group.

Thank you, Kelley, for your response. I used question groups as a way to combine two previous exams ('export' then 'import questions into a question group'). I liked having the question groups as an organization tool for questions from different chapters, but since they are randomized I am not able to keep a consistent display from student to student.

I wish we could nonrandomize questions from a question bank. Many times, it's nice to be able to randomize. But I have math problems: Step 1, step 2, step 3.  I'd like to be able to lock the order.
