Override module path

We have set requirements on our module for students to move through it in order.  Some individual students are having issues with technology and are not able to move forward in the module because of the requirements we have set.  We do not want to unlock the requirements, but we want to be able to override individual students who are having specific issues.  Is there a way to override individual students or allow them to bypass the requirement on a case-by-case basis?
