Password Help

I use CANVAS and am very good at it.  A teacher from a different school is just starting out and has asked for my help.  However, in the email he received from his district there was no password, just a link to take him directly to his Dashboard.  I am not near him and want to help him, but cannot sign into his account without his password as I am from a different school district.  Does anyone know where he can go on his settings or dashboard to see what his district set as his current password so he does not need to change it?
