What is a pinned discussion?

Hi  @nbrown1 .  Pinned discussions will always show up in the order you set at the top of the discussions page.  For regular discussions, ones with the newest activity will float to the top of the list.  Pinned discussions will not reorder themselves based on recent activity.  I have classes where each week I have a Q&A thread.  I always want these to be in order from Weeks 1-8 so I add them in that order in the pinned discussion section.
