Problem with Threaded Discussions

Jump to solution

When I set up my forums as "threaded" they still do not appear, visually, as threaded -- there is no indentation of responses to make it clear what is the original post and what is the response. There is a space separating individual threads, but this is not particularly helpful visually.

Is this a broader issue in Canvas? Or something in my course settings?

Thanks!

Dan

@djohnson2 , unfortunately, no, you're not missing anything. While there is some distinction between the initial post and replies, the actual box around the responses line up with the original post.

Thanks! That's what I thought, but I wanted to confirm. Hopefully Canvas will address this issue in the future.

How are they considered "threaded" if there's no indenting?
