Profile Picture Not Uploading

So this should not be this complicated. Through another institution, I am an instructor and uploaded my profile picture with no problem.

However, through my canvas for my doctorate program I can not get my picture to show. I have cleared the cache, tried a different picture, checked the file storage, tried safari, tried chrome, tried the app, and NONE of these options are working. 

I am at a loss and would love if someone had figured out a work around.

It is like it will upload it to the "profile pictures" folder, but it will not display the picture. It shows it as a broken image.

Institutions can disable the profile picture functionality.  I would ask at your other institution to find out.

So my institution had all permissions for profile pictures. Apparently there is just a CRAZY lag time. My picture was visible the next morning so at this points who knows!
