Publish lesson module automatically

How can I set up a module to publish automatically and close automatically?

Modules have been deliberately set up to require publishing that is not automatic. Mainly because sometimes teachers want to make content before they need the students to have access to it. Therefore you will need to keep that in mind when creating a module that you need students to have access to straight away you will need to publish it. 

Also, keep in mind that each item in the module also needs to be published. 

Modules do not close automatically, they simple go to the next module. Sometimes that it problematic and you need to put in a final page in each module to indicate module completion.

This is really inconvenient. That means I have to be available every time we need pages to open or close early in the morning or late in the evening. This seems like a basic feature that should be available, similar to what is on ASSIGNMENTS or QUIZZES or ANNOUNCEMENTS.
