Publishing zoom recordings on the Canvas site

Hello everybody, I'm relatively new to Canvas + Zoom. 

I've recorded the Zoom lectures and I'm struggling to get them shared via the Canvas module site.

Is there a bullet point guide on how to do this task?

I'm not sure if this will help, but my county has been using Google Meet. When I have a recorded meeting, I download the video and then upload it to Canvas as a file, which I can link to. You could also embed it into an assignment page if you have it downloaded.

Thanks, it's definitely helpful, but it turned out that my university has already integrated Zoom into Canvas, via "Panopto Recordings".  So there's a way to set it up automatically in my case.  But your solution is useful for self-made movies.
