My Canvas has developed the nasty habit of corrupting quizzes when I copy them from another course. It has changed the type of question (from fill-in-the-blank to multiple choice) and changed the correct answer key multiple times.
I review the quizzes every time but this is still continuing to happen. Is there something wrong with the system or is it me?

I have never heard of an issue like this before with quiz questions. I would recommend that you report this to the folks at the Canvas Help Desk so that they can get a ticket started for you.
